Door Locks Unlocked doors canbe dangerous. Passengers especially children -- can easily a open the doors and fall out. Whendoor is locked, the inside handle won't open it. Outsiders caneasily enter through an unlocked door when you slow down or stop your vehicle. so This may not be obvious: You increase the chance of being thrown outof the vehicle in a crash if the doors aren't locked. Wear safety belts properly, lock your doors, andyou will be far better off whenever you drive yourvehicle. -- From the inside, to lock or unlock the door manually, push the lever forward to lock the door.
