4. Press the shift lock release toward the front of the vehicle and hold it there. Parking Over Things That Burn 5. While applying the brakes, shift the transaxle from PARK (P) as needed. 6. Reinstall the shift lock release hole cover and the rubber mat. CAUTION: Things that can burn could touch hot exhaust parts under your vehicle and ignite.
