58 Uconnect® 8.4 & 8.4N CAUTION! • This CD Player will accept 4-3/4 in (12 cm) discs only. The use of other sized discs may damage the CD player mechanism. • Do not use adhesive labels. These labels can peel away and jam the player mechanism. • Uconnect® 8.4 is a single Disc player. Do not attempt to insert a second Disc if one is already loaded. EJECT Button - Ejecting a Disc Press the EJECT button to eject the Disc. A disc can be ejected with the radio and ignition OFF. Seek Up/Down Touch and release the right arrow soft-key for the next selection on the Disc. Touch and release the left arrow soft-key to return to the beginning of the current selection, or return to the beginning of the previous selection if the Disc is within the first second of the current selection. Fast Seek Up Touch and hold the right arrow soft-key and the Disc player will begin to fast forward through the current track until the soft-key is released. Fast Seek Down Touch and hold the left arrow soft-key and the Disc If you have ejected a disc and have not removed it within player will begin to rewind through the current track 10 seconds, it will be reloaded. If the Disc is not removed, until the soft-key is released. the radio will reinsert the Disc but will not play it.

EJECT Button - Ejecting a Disc
Press the EJECT button to eject the Disc.
If you have ejected a disc and have not removed it within
10 seconds, it will be reloaded. If the Disc is not removed,
the radio will reinsert the Disc but will not play it.
A disc can be ejected with the radio and ignition OFF.
Seek Up/Down
Touch and release the right arrow soft-key for the next
selection on the Disc. Touch and release the left arrow
soft-key to return to the beginning of the current selec-
tion, or return to the beginning of the previous selection
if the Disc is within the first second of the current
selection.
Fast Seek Up
Touch and hold the right arrow soft-key and the Disc
player will begin to fast forward through the current
track until the soft-key is released.
Fast Seek Down
Touch and hold the left arrow soft-key and the Disc
player will begin to rewind through the current track
until the soft-key is released.
