Using a fuse with a higher amperage rating can cause severe wire damage and could start a fire. Circuit Breakers If you need to check a circuit breaker that is on the instrument panel fuse panel, see Checking and replacing fuses to find out how to locate the fuse panel and pull it down. Diagnostic equipment is needed to check circuit breakers. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions. Circuit breakers will reset themselves and allow the electrical parts to work again once the overload on the circuit is gone. If 243
