If you are taking the medication "Antabuse" or other forms of disulfiram for the treatment of alcoholism, vapor or skin contact with a gasoline-methanol blend may cause the same kind of adverse reaction as drinking an alcoholic beverage. In sensitive individuals, serious personal injury or sickness could result. Consult a physician promptly if you experience an adverse reaction. Filling the fuel tank RWARNING Do not overfill the fuel tank. The pressure in an overfilled tank may cause leakage and lead to fuel spray and fire. To fill the fuel tank properly: NOTE: Extinguish all lit cigarettes, other smoking materials, and any open flames before fueling your vehicle. 1. Remove the fuel cap by following the instructions above under Removing the Fuel Cap in this chapter. Proceed to add fuel to the tank only if your vehicle is on level ground. Make sure that you pump unleaded fuel and put the nozzle all the way inside the fuel filler pipe. 2. NOTE: If you spill any fuel on the body of your vehicle, clean it off immediately. The fuel may dull or soften the paint if you do not wash it off. 3. Replace the fuel cap completely when you are finished. Turn it clockwise 1/4 turn until it is tight. It will click when it is fully tightened. 299
