Scheduled Maintenance Guide SPECIAL OPERATING CONDITIONS If you operate your vehicle primarily in any of the following conditions, you need to perform additional maintenance as indicated. If you occasionally operate your vehicle under any of these conditions, it is not necessary to perform the additional maintenance. For specific recommendations, see your dealership service advisor or technician. Extensive Idling or Low-speed Driving for Long Distances as in Heavy Commercial Use (i.e., Delivery, Taxi, Patrol Car or Livery) Inspect frequently, Replace cabin air filter (if equipped). service as required Replace engine air filter. Every 5000 miles Inspect brake system. (8000 km) Inspect tires for wear and measure tread depth. Inspect the wheels and related components for abnormal noise, wear, looseness or drag. Lubricate control arm and steering ball joints (if equipped with grease fittings). Every 5000 miles Inspect CV joint boots for loose clamps, damage or grease leakage. (8000 km) or six months Every 5000 miles Change engine oil and filter. (8000 km), six months or 200 hours of engine operation Operating in Dusty or Sandy Conditions Such as Unpaved or Dusty Roads Inspect frequently, Replace cabin air filter (if equipped). service as required Replace engine air filter.
