Child Restraints The child restraint must secured properly in the center(except 60/40 be bench seat) or right front passenger I you havea 60/40 split bench seat. f seat, you must use the right front passenger seat. Keep in mind that unsecured child restraint can an move around in a in properly collision or sudden stop and injure peoplethe vehicle. Be sure to secure anychild restraint in your vehicle -even when no child is in it. Top Strap If your child restraint has a top strap, it should be anchored. If you need to have an anchor installed, can ask your you GM dealer to put it in for you. If you want to install an anchor yourself, your dealer can tell you how to do it. 1-27
