2. Move the Cruise switch from ON to WA (Resurne/Acceler ate). Hold it there until you get up to the speedyou want, and then release the switch. To increase your speed in very small amounts,move the switch to R/A (Resume/Accelerate). Each time do this, your vehicle will about 1 you go mph (1.6 krn/h) faster. To Reduce Speed While Using Cruise Control Push in the button at the endof the lever until you reach the lower speedyou want, then release it. To slow downin very small amounts, push the button for lessthan half a second. Each timeyou do this, you'll go 1 mph (1.6 km/h) slower. Passing Another Vehicle While Using Cruise Control Use the accelerator pedal increase yourspeed. When you take your foot to off the pedal, your vehicle slow down to the Cruise Control speed will you set earlier. 2-41
