OTHER FUNCTIONS The Lexus park assist system may detect the following by mistake: D Bumpy roads or gravelled roads or grass when driving on such surfaces, or on grass D Devices issuing ultrasonic waves, such as a horn from another vehicle, motorcycle engine, air braking sound from heavyduty vehicles, if such a device is operated around your vehicle D Rain or water splashing over the sensor D The ground on which the vehicle is tilted D Radio antenna or fender pole mounted on your vehicle D Mud, ice or snowflakes on the sensor. D Tall curb stone D Towing eyelet mounted on your vehicle D Towing hitch mounted on your vehicle The Lexus park assist system may not detect the following: D Thin objects such as wire or rope D Objects with a surface area too small to reflect ultrasonic waves such as wire gauze or fence D Sound wave absorbing objects such as cotton or snow D Objects with a sharp edge D Shorter objects D Tall objects with the upper part projected Hands-free system Hands-free system allows you to call or receive without your hands off the steering wheel by connecting your cellular phone. This system supports the Bluetooth. Bluetooth is a data wireless system by which you can call without your cellular phone connecting with a cable or placing on a cradle. If your cellular phone does not support the Bluetooth, this system can not be functioned. CAUTION While you are driving, do not use a cellular phone or connect the Bluetooth phone. NOTICE Do not leave your cellular phone in the car. The temperature indoor may be high and damage the phone. 113
