Owner maintenance checks AT LEAST MONTHLY: u Check coolant level in the coolant recovery reservoir. u Check operation of lamps, horn, turn signals, windshield wipers and washer, and hazard warning flasher. u Check for fluid leaks by inspecting the surface beneath your vehicle for oil, coolant, or other fluid drips. Clean water from the air conditioning system is normal. AT LEAST TWICE A YEAR: u u u u u u u u u u Check the power steering reservoir fluid level. Check the fluid level in the clutch master cylinder. Check radiator, heater, and air conditioning hoses for leaks or damage. Check for worn tires. Clean body and door drain holes. Flush complete underside of vehicle. Inspect underbody components for damage. Check parking brake system. Check headlamp alignment. Check seat and shoulder belt webbing, buckles, and release mechanisms. u Inspect seatback latches for proper operation. u Check air pressure in spare tire. u Check windshield washer spray and wiper operation. Clean wiper blades throughly with a clean cloth dampened in washer fluid. 32
