Hood Release To open the hood, do the following: 1. Pull the handle located inside the vehicle under the instrument panel on the driver's side. 2. Then go to the front of the vehicle and slide the secondary hood release lever to the left. The secondary hood release lever is located near the front center of the hood toward the driver's side. 5-10
