Do-it -yourse lf m a int e na nc e Wire le ss re m ot e c ont rol/e le c t ronic ke y bat t e r y Replace the battery with a new one if it is discharged. n You will need the following items: l Flathead screwdriver (To prevent damage to the key, cover the tip of the screwdriver with a rag.) l Small Phillips-head screwdriver l Lithium battery CR2032 (vehicles without smart key system), CR1632 (vehicles with smart key system) n Replacing the battery (vehicles without smart key system) STEP 1 Remove the cover using a coin protected with tape etc. STEP 2 Remove the discharged transmitter battery. Insert a new battery with the "+" terminal facing up. 472
