Serial ATA (SATA) Data Cable Serial ATA (SATA) Power Cable (Optional) connect to the SATA HDD power connector connect to the power supply USB 2.0 Header (9-pin USB67) (see p.2 No. 19) USB 2.0 Header (9-pin USB45) (see p.2 No. 21) Infrared Module Header (5-pin IR1) (see p.2 No. 22) Either end of the SATA data cable can be connected to the SATA / SATAII hard disk or the SATAII connector on the motherboard. You can also use the SATA data cable to connect SATAII connectors and eSATAII connectors with corresponding color. Please connect the black end of SATA power cable to the power connector on each drive. Then connect the white end of SATA power cable to the power connector of the power supply. ASRock eSATAII I/O accommodates 4 default USB 2.0 ports. If those USB 2.0 ports on the I/O panel are not sufficient, this USB 2.0 header is available to support 2 additional USB 2.0 ports. ASRock eSATAII I/O accommodates 4 default USB 2.0 ports. If those USB 2.0 ports on the I/O panel are not sufficient, this USB 2.0 header is available to support 2 additional USB 2.0 ports. This header supports an optional wireless transmitting and receiving infrared module.
