82 4 System BIOS Parameter Description Option Base I/O address Base I/O address and IRQ setting for the selected serial port 3F8/IRQ4 2F8/IRQ3 3E8/IRQ4 2E8/IRQ3 Parallel Port When enabled allows you to configure Enabled the parallel port settings. Disabled Mode Sets the operation mode for the parallel port. When set to Bi-Directional, allows normal speed operation in a two way mode. When set to EPP (Enhanced Parallel Port), allows bi-directional parallel port operation at maximum speed.
