Integrated Peripherals The following table describes each Integrated Peripherals parameter. Settings in boldface are the default and suggested settings. Enabled Disabled Setting these items to Auto activates the HDD speed auto-detect function. The PIO mode specifies the data transfer rate of the HDD. For example, mode 0 data transfer rate is 3.3 MB/s, mode 1 is 5.2 MB/s, mode 2 is 8.3 MB/s, mode 3 is 11.1 MB/s and mode 4 is 16.6 MB/s. If your hard disk performance becomes unstable, you may manually try the slower mode. These items allow you to set the Ultra DMA/33/66/100 Auto mode supported by the hard disk drive connected to your Disabled primary and secondary IDE connectors.
