If you install an add-in FDC or the system has no floppy drive, select Disabled in this field. Onboard Serial Port 1 This item allows users to manually set the address for serial port 1. Onboard Serial Port 2 Use this item to enable or disable the onboard parallel port and to assign a port address. UART Mode Select Select an operating mode for the serial port. The default is [Normal]. UR2 Duplex Mode This option is only available if an infrared port mode is selected in the UART Mode Select item. Select full or half duplex mode. Full-duplex mode permits simultaneous two-direction transmission. Half-duplex mode permits transmission in one direction only at a time. 38 Chapter 2
