Miniport drivers are 32-bit protected mode device drivers used by Windows 95/98 to control SCSI cards and devices. Windows 95/98 includes a set of miniport drivers for various SCSI cards. If your SCSI card is already installed, the card's miniport driver is automatically installed and configured during Windows 95/98 installation. Follow the instructions listed in Installing the Driver When Windows 98 is Already Installed on page 4-7 to ensure that the miniport driver is updated.
