Viewing editable and locked regions In template ﬁles and documents based on templates, editable regions appear in the Document window's Design view surrounded by rectangular outlines in the appropriate highlight color. A small tab appears at the upper left of each editable region, showing the name of the editable region. In template ﬁles, only editable regions are marked with highlighted outlines.
