2.4 Advanced menu The Advanced menu items allow you to change the settings for the CPU and other system devices. Take caution when changing the settings of the Advanced menu items. Incorrect field values can cause the system to malfunction. Main Advanced Power BIOS SETUP UTILITY Boot Tools Exit Advanced Settings JumperFree Configuration CPU Configuration Chipset Onboard Devices Configuration PCIPnP USB Configuration Adjust System Frequency/Voltage etc. 2.4.1 JumperFree Configuration Depending on your AMD CPU type (AM2, AM2+ or AM3), the items on this section may not exactly match what you see on your screen. CPU Overclocking [Auto] Allows selection of CPU overclocking options to achieve desired CPU internal frequency. Select either one of the preset overclocking. Manual - Allows you to individually set overclocking parameters. Auto - Loads the optimal settings for the system. Standard - Loads the standard settings for the system. Overclock Profile - Loads overclocking profiles with optimal parameters for stability when overclocking. The following item appears only when the CPU Overclocking item is set to [Manual]. CPU/HT Reference Clock (MHz) [200] Allows you to set the CPU/HT Reference Clock. The valid value is between 200 MHz and 550 MHz. The following item appears only when the CPU Overclocking item is set to [Overclock Profile]. Overclock Options [Auto] Allows you to select the overclock profile. Configuration options: [Auto] [Overclock 2%] [Overclock 5%] [Overclock 8%] [Overclock 10%] GPU Overclocking [Auto] Allows you to select the GPU Overclocking. Configuration options: [Auto] [Manual] The following item appears only when the GPU Overclocking item is set to [Manual]. GPU Engine Clock [500] Allows you to set the GPU engine clock.
