Rear ENGLISH USB 3.1 Gen2 ports. These 9-pin Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports connect to USB 3.1 Gen2 devices. USB 3.1 Gen1 ports. These ports connect to USB 3.1 Gen1 devices such as a mouse, printer, scanner, camera, PDA, and others. • DO NOT connect a keyboard / mouse to any USB 3.1 Gen1 port when installing Windows® operating system. • Due to USB 3.1 Gen1 controller limitations, USB 3.1 Gen1 devices can only be used under a Windows® OS environment and after USB 3.1 Gen1 driver installation. • USB 3.1 Gen1 devices can only be used as data storage only. • We strongly recommend that you connect USB 3.1 Gen1 devices to USB 3.1 Gen1 ports for faster and better performance for your USB 3.1 Gen1 devices.
