Troubleshooting Vacuum cleaner won't turn on Possible causes WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock, turn power OFF and disconnect polarized plug from electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting. Remedies 1. Power cord not plugged in 2. Blown fuse/tripped breaker 1. Check electrical plug 2. Check/replace fuse or reset breaker Vacuum cleaner has low suction Possible causes Remedies 1. Dirt container is full 1. Empty dirt container 2. Dirt container is not installed properly 2. Position container correctly and snap firmly into place 3. Separator grill is not installed properly 3. Position separator grill in upper tank and twist firmly into place 4. Clog in vacuum 4. Follow instructions on page 8 to clear clog 5. Separator grill is clogged with debris 5. Remove and wipe separator grill of all debris 6. Foot is loose 6. Make sure foot is fully inserted into body of unit 7. Filters need replacing 7.
