CHANGING SOURCE SETTINGS EDnagnlisskh DEsepuatsñcohl FItralniaçnaois Nederlands Svenska CHANGING SOURCE SETTINGS DVD settings menu To see the DVD Settings menu, press CD-DVD on the remote while playing a DVD video disc. Then press Settings. Press Exit to remove the menu from the screen. Item Name Movie EQ* Settings On, Off Default On Description Optimizes the tonal balance for movies. Range Compression* On, Off On Adjusts volume to maintain dialogue intelligibility. Keeps some sounds from overwhelming others. Mono Decoding* On, Off On Engages Videostage® 5 mono decoding circuitry to process mono sound (one-channel audio) for your system. Time Title Chapter Audio Track _:_ _ 0:00 __ of __ _____ Dependent on disc Displays the elapsed time of the current DVD. Also, allows you to move to a new location in the movie by entering a new time. Selects a DVD title from the current disc, according to the number set. Some DVDs do not allow direct access to titles. Selects a DVD chapter from the current DVD movie, according to the number entered. Some DVDs do not allow direct access to chapters. Allows you to choose one of the available audio tracks on the current disc. Subtitle language Dependent on disc Allows you to choose one of the available subtitle languages (only if included on disc). Camera Angle 1 of ____ Allows you to select one of the available camera angles (only if included on disc). A-B Repeat Sleep Timer A, B Off, 10-90 Off minutes Repeats a segment of the DVD after the start and end points are defined. To begin: 1. Move backward or forward to the point in the DVD where you want the segment to start. 2. Press Enter. 3. Move to the point where you want it to end. 4. Press Enter. Repeats until you press the Settings button. Turns the system off after the set time expires. Choose off to deactivate the timer. *Available only when Audio Processing is set to User Adjustable.
