Enhanced mode When you select VIDEO or AUX TAPE CD or AM/FM The mode is Enhanced Standard Standard To change this Press the same button again Press the same button again Not applicable: You cannot select enhanced mode for CD or AM/FM Digital Dynamic Range® compression When you select VIDEO or AUX CD, AM/FM, or TAPE DRC is ON OFF To change this Press and hold the STEREO (2-speaker) STEREO button until two chimes are heard Press and hold the STEREO (2-speaker) STEREO button until one chime is heard Simulated surround (monaural into 5 speakers) When your audio source is Mono Dolby Digital Anything else Simulated surround is ON OFF To change this Press and hold the SURROUND (5-speaker) SURROUND button until two chimes are heard (OFF) Press and hold the SURROUND (5-speaker) SURROUND button until one chime is heard (ON) To return speaker levels to factory settings To reset Center speaker level Surround (rear) speakers level Press STEREO+CENTER (3-speaker) button until you hear a 3-note chime STEREO+CENTER SURROUND (5-speaker) button until you hear a 3-note chime SURROUND Chimes When you hear one or more chimes, it means that one of the system features has been turned on or off.
