Using the System Battery protection mode When the SoundTouch™ Portable system is unplugged and unused for several days or one day with a remaining charge of less than 10 percent, it enters battery protection mode to preserve battery power. To reactivate the system, connect it to AC (mains) power. Notes: D o not store your system for extended periods when the battery status icon on the display indicates less than 20 percent capacity . When not in use, store the system in a cool place. Do not store the system fully charged for long periods of time. Replacing the battery Rechargeable batteries periodically need replacement. The lifetime of a battery depends on usage and volume settings. You may need to replace the battery if you must recharge the battery more often. Note: For replacement batteries, contact the Bose® organization in your country or region. Visit http://global.Bose.com for Bose contact information. 18 - English
