For even greater productivity, this intelligent scanner can scan both sides of a doublesided document simultaneously at up to 50 images per minute in black & white or greyscale. And with a generous 50-page automatic document feeder, batch scanning is a breeze. Automatic image enhancement Optimum scan quality is assured with the DR-2580C's image enhancement features. The Auto Shading Adjustment feature, for example, automatically adjusts shading during batch scanning to ensure legibility. The ThreeDimensional Colour Correction feature ensures that the colour of every scan is as close to the original as possible. And the Punch Hole Removal feature detects and removes the black dots left on an image after scanning a document with binder holes. Space-saving design Perfect for even the tightest office space, the DR-2580C redefines the concept of compact. This innovative technology senses the thickness of documents as it scans and adjusts the height of the mechanism to suit. If a misfeed occurs, the DR-2580C's Rapid Recovery System allows you to reposition the document in the feed tray and continue scanning without interruption. Use the searchable PDF feature to turn documents into fulltext searchable files. And control who sees, prints and edits information by creating password protected PDFs.
