3 File Numbering Methods The file number is like the frame number on film. There are two file numbering methods: [Continuous] and [Auto reset]. The images you take are automatically assigned a file number from 0001 to 9999 and saved in a folder (created automatically) that can hold up to 100 images. 1 Select [File numbering]. ¡ Select the [c] tab. ¡ Press the key to select [File numbering], then press . 2 Select the file numbering method. ¡ Press the key to select [Continuous] or [Auto reset], then press . Continuous The file numbering continues in sequence File numbering after even after you replace the CF card.
