s Setting the options for automatic redialing You can set the following options for automatic redialing: • Whether or not the fax redials automatically. • The number of times the fax attempts to redial. • The time interval between redialing attempts. 1 Press [Function]. w Press [Start/Copy]. USER SETTINGS 2 Use [3] or [4] to select TX SETTINGS. w Press [Start/Copy]. ECM TX 3 Use [3] or [4] to select AUTO REDIAL. w Press [Start/Copy]. • To disable automatic redialing, use [3] or [4] to select OFF, then press [Start/Copy]. Press [Stop] to return to standby mode. • To enable automatic redialing, use [3] or [4] to select ON and continue with the steps below. ON 4 Press [Start/Copy] twice. 2TIMES 5 Use the numeric buttons to enter the number of times you want the fax to redial. You can select from 1 to 10 times (see p. 7-3). w Press [Start/Copy] twice. 2MIN. 6 Use the numeric buttons to enter the time interval between redialing attempts. You can select from 2 to 99 minutes (see p. 7-3). w Press [Start/Copy]. 4-10 7 Press [Stop]. The fax returns to standby mode.
