AUTOS Flash AUTO In dark places and in backlit conditions, the flash fires automatically. You can select whether the autoflash mode initially set when you switch the camera on is AUTIA© or AUTO.. Set the camera to the desired autotlash mode and then switch the camera OFF. You can use the CF2 Custom Function setting to specify that whichever flash mode is active when you switch off the camera should be stored in the camera's memory. (-26) AUTO*C> Flash AUTO with Red-eye Reduction In dark places, the flash automatically fires after the red-eye reduction lamp has lit. You cannot shoot while the red-eye reduction lamp is on (for approximately 1 second).
