Operating modes: While recording, or in record pause mode, press j to capture the photo. In mode, the size/quality of photos taken while recording video (simultaneous recording) will be determined by the setting selected with this procedure; the size/quality of photos taken in record pause mode will be determined by the photo size set in mode (0 105). IMPORTANT • When recording photos on an Eye-Fi card, photos will be uploaded automatically if you are within the range of a configured network. Always verify that Eye-Fi cards have been approved in the country/region of use. See also Using an Eye-Fi card (0 146). NOTES • Photo quality will be higher when photos are recorded in mode or in mode during record pause. • e Photos will be recorded on the memory selected for record- ing photos. • Photos cannot be recorded simultaneously while the digital zoom or a digital effect is activated. • In mode, when the IS mode is set to [P Dynamic], if you zoom in to full telephoto you can record video using a zoom ratio larger than 15x. Photos taken simultaneously at that time, however, will show a maximum zoom ratio of 15x so the video and the photo will not show exactly the same picture. Photos 111
