INSTRUCTIONS English POWER SUPPLY This calculator features dual power source: solar and alkaline battery. Generally, under normal room lighting, the calculator is powered by a built-in solar cell. Loud external noise or static electricity may cause the display to malfunction or the contents of the memory to be lost or altered. Should this occur, press the ON CA key and restart your calculation from the beginning. Decimal Point Selector Switch For designating the decimal point position in the result. A(Add-mode) Addition and subtraction are perfotmed with an automatic 2-digit decimal.The key need not be pressed for individual entries. F (Floating Decimal Point) All effective numbers up to 14 digits are displayed. Rounding Switch When using round-up ( ), round-off (5/4) or round -down ( ), results will show to the preselected decimal digits. Sign Change Key Changes the sign (+ or -) of the displayed numbers. Shift Key Deletes the last digit displayed on the right. Memory Plus Equal Key Used for obtaining a calculation result and adding the result automatically to memory. This key is also used for adding a number to memory. Memory Minus Equal Key Used for obtaining a calculation result and subtracting the result automatically from memory. This key is also used for subtracting a number from memory. Recall and Clear Memory Key A double function key. If pressed once, it recalls the memory contents. If pressed twice successively, it clears the memory contents. Grand Total Results are accumulated in the grand total by pressing the or key. If pressed once, it recalls the grand total. If pressed twice successively, it clears the grand total. Prercent Plus-Minus key Used for performing percentage, add-on and discount calclation. Clear and Clear Indicator Key If pressed once after numbers are entered, it clears only the numbers that have just been entered. (Clear indicator CI ) If pressed after one of the function keys has been pressed, or pressed twice successively, it clears all the calculations except the memory. (Clear C) Mark-up, Mark-down Key Used for performing mark-up and mark-down calculations. Overflow ("ERROR" sign lights up on LCD in the following cases) 1) When the number of integers in a calculation result exceeds 14 digits Clear the overflow by pressing the key.(twice) 2) When the number of integers in the memory content exceeds 14 digits Clear the overflow by pressing the key. 3) When a number is divided by 0 Clear the Overflow by pressing ON CA key 4) Square Root of a Negative Number Clear the overflow by pressing the ON CA key. Normalement, dans des conditions d'éclairage ambient habituelles, elle est alimentée par la cellule solaire incorporée. Un bruit externe relativement fort ou l'électricité statique peuvent causer des erreurs d'affichage ainsi que la perte ou la modification du contenu de la mémoire. Dans de telles circonstances, appuyer sur la touche ON CA et recommencer l'opération de calcul depuis le début. Sélecteur de décimales Perment de fixer la position de la virgule dans le résultat. + Mode (sommes monétaires) Les additions et les soustractions sont automatiquement effectuées avec deux décimals, il n'y a plus besion d'appuyer sur la touché à chaque entrée. F (Virgule flottante) Tous les chiffres significatifs, jusqu'a un maximum de 14 sont affichés. Commutatue d'arrondi au plus prés Lorsqu'on arrondir au chiffre supérieur( ) au 5/4 ou au chiffre inférieur ( ), les résultants comportent des chiffres décimaux présélectionnés. Touche de changement de signe Change le signe (+ ou -) des chiffres affichés. Touche de retour décalage Efface le dernier chiffre affiché à droite. Touche de mémoire plus-égal Cette touche sert à effectuer un calcul et à cumuler simultanément le résultat obtenu dans la mémoire. Elle permet également d'additionner un nombre à la mémoire. Touche de mémoire moins-égal Cette touche sert à obtenir un résultat tout en déduisant simultanément cette valeur du contenu de la mémoire. Elle permet également de soustraire un nombre de la mémoire. Touche de rappel et d'effacement de la mémoire Cette touche assume deux fonctions. Lorsqu'elle est actionnée une fois, elle rappelle le contenu de la mémoire. Lorsqu'elle est actionnée deux fois de suite, elle efface le contenu de la mémoire. Touche de total global Les résultats sont accumulés dans le total global par une pression sur la touche ou . Lorsqu'elle est actionnee une fois, elle rappelle le contenu du tatol global. Touche de pourcentage plus-moins Cette touche sert aux calculs comportant des pourcentages. majorations et rabais. Effacement affichage / Effacement Une pression après l'entrée de données numériques efface uniquement celles-ci (touche effacement affichage). Par contre, elle efface tous les registres sauf la mémoire si elle est actionnée deux fois en succession ou une fois après une pression sur une des touches de function. Prix de vente et prix de revient Cette touche sert au calcul de prix de vente et du prix de revient. Dépassement de capacité (Le témoin d'erreur sur l'afficheur à cristaux liquides s'allume dans les cas suivants) 1) Lorsque la partie entière d'un résultat dépasse 14 chiffres.
