Transporting the Machine 18 Grip the handles on both sides of the machine and lift it carefully, as shown in the illustration below. 3 If you are using the output tray extension, fold the paper stopper, and then push the output tray extension into the machine. - Do not lift the machine by any of its attachments. Dropping the machine can cause personal injury. - If you have a back problem, make sure to check the weight of this machine before carrying. (See "Specifications," on p. 13-2.) 4 Hold the front side of the operation panel with your hands. For MF4350d Follow this procedure to avoid vibration damage to the machine when transporting it over a long distance. 1 Turn OFF the main power switch. 2 Disconnect the power cord and all the cables from the back of the machine. 5 Lift the scanning platform (A) until it is locked.
