When using the double feed detection ignore function If a document double feed is detected during scanning, document feeding stops when the double fed documents are ejected. The following error code is displayed in the Job No. Indicator of the operating panel, and the DFR button lights. Double feed detection error code Also, the [Rapid Recovery System] screen appears to enable you to specify whether to continue scanning. Discards the preview image and stops scanning. Discards the preview image and continues scanning. Place the double fed document again before clicking this button. Detecting Skewed Documents This scanner includes a function that can detect when a document has been fed at a slant. When this function is used, the scanner will stop a scanning operation automatically when it detects a skewed document that exceeds a fixed angle, thereby preventing damage to the document. In addition to skewed documents, this function also detects stapled documents. This function is useful for documents that are 170 mm (6.7") or larger in width. To use the skew detection function, open the scanner driver settings screen and enable the skew detection function beforehand. Setting procedure 1 Start CapturePerfect.
