SETTINGS & TOOLS Sounds Settings Provides options to customize the handset's sounds. Accessing the Sounds Settings submenu 1. From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. 2. Press Sounds Settings. 3. Select a submenu: Easy Set-up / Call Sounds / Alert Sounds / Keypad Volume / Digit Dial Readout / Service Alerts / Power On/Off Easy Set-up You can set the Call Sounds, Keypad Volume, Text Message Alert, Multimedia Message Alert, and Voicemail Message Alert all at once using the Wizard. 1. From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Press Sounds Settings, Easy Set-up. 2. Follow the on-screen prompts to set sounds settings. • CALL SOUNDS: Select Ring Only, Vibrate Only, Ring and Vibrate or Be Silent then press the Center Select Key [SET] to save the setting or press the Right Soft Key [Skip] to go to the next setting. • KEYPAD VOLUME: Adjust the volume by pressing the Directional Key up or down, then press the Center Select Key [SET] to save the setting or press the Right Soft Key [Skip] to go to the next setting. • TEXT MESSAGE ALERT: Select Ring Only, Vibrate Only, Ring and Vibrate or Be Silent then press the Center Select Key [SET] to save the setting or press the Right Soft Key [Skip] to go to the next setting. 140
