Radio Auto Scan 1. Se lect "auto scan" and p ress the joys tick (OK bu tton). 2. Th e radio will scan the en tire FM ban d and save 20 stations to the presets. Th e LCD will a utomatica lly turn off a fter a few se conds. 3. Se lect "to normal power" and press t he joystick ( OK button) . 4. The LCD will remain on. NOT E: Onl y the joystic k left/right ( previous/ne xt), joystick up/down (volume up/do wn) and HOLD buttons can be used . If any othe r button is pressed, the LCD will tur n back on. Turn off 1. Crea te a docum ent named fmname.tx t, and add t he frequ ency, name and prese t number: [87500] station 1 [88700] station 2 ... [107300] station 20 87500 is 87.5 MHz and station is the name that you w ant to enter . 1 refe rs to preset 0 and 20 re fers to prese t 19. You ca n name up to 20 stations. Trans fer the fmna me.txt file to the "Sys" folder, and r estart the playe r. NOTE : If you perform an auto scan t he presets will be overwritten. When you restart the player t he presets will revert back to those in t he fmname .txt file. 49 50

Select "auto scan" and press the joystick (OK button).
The radio will scan the entire FM band and save 20 stations
to the presets.
Select "to save power" and press the joystick (OK button).
The LCD will automatically turn off after a few seconds.
Select "to normal power" and press the joystick (OK button).
The LCD will remain on.
Only the joystick left/right (previous/next), joystick up/down
(volume up/down) and HOLD buttons can be used. If any
other button is pressed, the LCD will turn back on.
Select "turn off" and press the joystick (OK button).
The radio will turn off and exit the radio mode.

FM PRESET DOCUMENT
You can store the name and the frequency of the preset radio
stations in a document.
Create a document named fmname.txt, and add the
frequency, name and preset number:

87500 is 87.5 MHz and
is the name that you want to enter.
1 refers to preset 0 and 20 refers to preset 19. You can name up
to 20 stations.
Transfer the fmname.txt file to the "Sys" folder, and restart the
player.
If you perform an auto scan the presets will be overwritten.
When you restart the player the presets will revert
back to those in the fmname.txt file.
