TROUBLESHOOTING There is no sound or distorted sound. • Ensure that the TV and amplifier have been turned on and properly set up. • Ensure that the TV and amplifier connections are secure and correct. • Try a different Audio track of the DVD by pressing AUDIO. • Ensure that the MUTE function of the TV, Amplifier, or Player is not engaged. The remote control doesn't work. • Ensure that the Power Switch has been physically set to the ON position. • Ensure that there are no obstacles between the remote and the player. • Point the remote at the remote sensor on the main unit. • Ensure that the batteries in the remote retain a charge and have been installed correctly. The player has malfunctioned. • Unplug the player and remove the battery pack for 30 minutes. After that, reinstall the battery and plug in the player. Power on the player -- the restore function should reset the player. 27
