DES-105 / DES-108 5/8 Port Fast Ethernet Switches Power-saving technology The DES-105/DES-108 are part of D-Link Green™, D-Link's eco-friendly technology, providing energy savings, reduced power consumption, and a longer product lifespan without sacrificing operational performance or functionality. These switches support IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) standard which detects when a connected computer is shut down or when there is no Ethernet traffic, in which case the switches will proceed to power down the idle port, saving a substantial amount of power.
