6 Enter security settings: • Association Mode allows for open, shared, or WPA association methods. • Encryption Method changes based on what mode is chosen. Options include none, WEP, and TKIP. • If 802.1x is used, check the box Authenticate using 802.1X. • For WPA-PSK, enter your Passphrase (key). 7 Depending on your selections, the next page appears. You could be asked to enter a WEP key or username and password. 8 Tap Next. 9 Here you can select EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) methods. Default settings only include EAP / TTLS. a If you need other EAP methods, tap Add. b After adding other EAP methods, tap OK. c Tap Next. 10 Enter an anonymous name to keep your login name private. This name will be used for outer visible authentication. Tap Next. 11 Depending on the EAP method you chose, select an inner authentication protocol. Tap Next. 12 Enter username and password and tap Next. 13 Tap Finish. 14 When done, the new profile is added to the networks to choose from.
