Prerequisites NOTE: These instructions are applicable only for laptops with a nontouchscreen display. 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery. 3 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in removing the hard drive. 4 Remove the fan. 5 Remove the keyboard. 6 Remove the base frame. 7 Remove the display assembly. 8 Remove the display bezel. 9 Remove the display panel. 10 Remove the display brackets. Procedure 1 Remove the screws that secure the display hinges to the display backcover. 90
