Replace the battery only with the same or equivalent type. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions. CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS settings to default. It is recommended that you note the BIOS settings before removing the coin-cell battery. 1 Lay the computer on its side with the computer cover facing up.	18
2 Using a screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the computer cover to the chassis.	18
3 Release the computer cover by sliding it away from the front of the computer.	18
