NOTICE: The cooling fans are hot-pluggable. To maintain proper cooling while the system is on, replace only one fan at a time. 1 Remove the cover. a Remove the bezel, if applicable. b Loosen the three thumbscrews that secure the cover to the chassis. See Figure 1. c Slide the cover backward and grasp the cover at both ends. d Carefully lift the cover away from the system. 2 Pull the fan straight up to clear the chassis. See Figure 2. NOTICE:
The cooling fans are hot-pluggable. To maintain proper cooling while the system is
on, replace only one fan at a time.

Remove the cover.

Remove the bezel, if applicable.

Loosen the three thumbscrews that secure the cover to the chassis. See Figure 1.

Slide the cover backward and grasp the cover at both ends.
