Viewing Projector Information The About menu lets you view information about the display settings of your computer, your video signal mode, and the number of hours the lamp has been used. The options available in the menu depend on which source is connected to the projector: computer or video. note The life span of the projector lamp is approximately 1500 hours. If the number shown in the About menu is close to 1500, make sure you have a spare lamp handy. See page 6 for part number and ordering information. Video source menu Computer or component video source menu About menu Menu item Lamp Reset lamp timer Video Source Input Signal* Frequency* Sync Polarity* Sync Mode* Resolution* Refresh Rate* Video Signal** Description Displays the number of hours the current lamp has been used. Sets the cumulative lamp time to zero; use this when you've replaced the projector lamp, as described on page 48. Displays the currently selected input source: Computer or Video. Displays the computer or component video input signal. Displays the projector's horizontal and vertical frequency. Displays the computer's sync polarity. Displays the computer's sync mode. Displays the resolution of the computer's video output. Displays the refresh rate of the computer's video output.
