The memory requirements are for printing a 40 × 57-inch full-page color image. Requirements may vary, depending on the size, complexity, and resolution of your images. See your anti-virus software documentation for instructions. Then follow these steps to install your printer software: 1. Insert your printer software CD-ROM. 2. Open the Installer folder and double-click the icon. Then follow the instructions on the screen. 3. When you see the "installation complete" message, click Restart. Follow the steps in the next section to select your printer using either the serial interface or an AppleTalk® connection. B-4

Make sure your Macintosh meets the requirements listed in the table below.

Installing the Software
Before you start, turn off all virus protection programs. See your anti-virus
software documentation for instructions. Then follow these steps to install
your printer software:
1.
Insert your printer software CD-ROM.
2.
Open the
Installer
folder and double-click the icon. Then follow the
instructions on the screen.
3.
When you see the “installation complete” message, click
Restart.
Follow the steps in the next section to select your printer using either the
serial interface or an AppleTalk
®
connection.
