104 | Maintaining and Transporting the Printer • Cover the printer with a non-static cloth. This helps protect it from dust, which can interfere with the print head nozzles. Before returning the printer to use, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the printer and shake the white ink cartridge (see page 79). 2. Run a nozzle check and select the PRINT WITH WHITE INK option (see page 83). Check the results and clean the print head, if necessary (see page 84). 3.
