Moving parts. Make sure power switch is in OFF (O) position before plugging in power cord. Assemble the vacuum cleaner before using. Use a Phillips screwdriver. Slide handle onto vacuum body. Tighten 3 screws. Loop hose around hose retainer. Clip hose nozzle into place. Push cord into cord retainer. Wrap cord on upper and lower hooks. Some models: Slide clip onto front of handle and store turbo nozzle. Some models: Attach tool to end of wand or hose for furniture and stairs. 3STEP Store nested extension wands on side. Store crevice tool in slot on back of vacuum. Store dusting brush in cup on back of vacuum. Get ready to vacuum Store upholstery nozzle below top cord wrap. Push firmly to secure. Lift latch to remove front cover. Turn selector knob to "floor" See dust bag for for vacuuming floors, or replacement instuctions. "hose" for using attachments. Plug into oulet. Step on handle release to lower handle into position. Push power switch (I) on. Push power switch (O) off. Push brush roll control to bare floor to stop brush roll. Push firmly to lock. Adjust height for carpet or bare floor. If hard to push, raise carpet setting. PROBLEM SOLVING Refer to Owner's Guide. Loosen hose from hose retainer and place attachment onto end of wand or hose. Check belt view window for a broken belt. Replace belt for brush roll to turn. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE Refer to Owner's Guide.

Easy assembly
Slide handle onto vacuum body.
Loop hose around hose retainer.
Clip hose nozzle into place.
Wrap cord on upper and
lower hooks.
Some models: Slide clip onto
front of handle and store
turbo nozzle.
Tighten 3 screws.
Store upholstery nozzle
below top cord wrap.
Push firmly to secure.
Push cord into
cord retainer.

Get ready to vacuum
Push brush roll control to
bare floor to stop brush roll.
Push firmly to lock.
Plug into oulet. Step on
handle release to lower
handle into position.
Turn selector knob to “floor”
for vacuuming floors, or
“hose” for using attachments.
Adjust height for carpet
or bare floor. If hard to
push, raise carpet setting.
Check belt view window for
a broken belt. Replace belt
for brush roll to turn.
Loosen hose from hose
retainer and place attachment
onto end of wand or hose.
Push power switch (I) on.
Push power switch (O) off.
Lift latch to remove front cover.
See dust bag for
replacement instuctions.
Some models: Attach tool to
end of wand or hose for
furniture and stairs.
