34 How to attend to a fault ‐ Classic models START HERE Press to stop the beeping. Look up the fault code in the table opposite and note it down. If it's a 'U' code If it's an 'E' code U1: Turn on the water supply, then press to resume the wash program. U4: Attend to the fault on the other drawer. The drawer displaying U4 is not faulty. U6: Open the drawer and check the spray arm. Has the spray arm loosened or come off its mounting? YES NO Refit the spray arm following instructions in section 'User maintenance instructions', then close the drawer and press to resume the wash program. Water pressure is too low. You may need to have a '4 litre' valve installed on your water supply. Has the fault code disappeared? Has the dishwasher resumed normal operation? YES NO You have corrected the fault and can continue to use your dishwasher as normal. Press . Wait a few seconds, then press again. Has the fault code disappeared? YES The fault has reset. You can NO continue to use your dishwasher. Press . Another number will briefly appear in the display. Note this number down too. It will help Fisher & Paykel Customer Care identify the fault more precisely. Disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply (unplug or switch off at circuit breaker), turn off its water supply, then contact Customer Care with the fault code information.
