PREPARING AND LOADING DISHES Loading the Bottom Rack Features and appearance of racks and silverware basket may vary from your model. The lower rack is best for plates, saucers, bowls, and cookware. Large items should be placed along the edge so they do not block the spray arm rotation. For best results, place bowls, casseroles, and sauce pans with soiled surface facing down or toward the center. Tilt slightly for better drainage. Make sure tall items do not block spray arm rotation. Be sure pan handles do not protrude through the bottom of the rack and block the spray arm rotation. Removable High-Side Shelf The removable high-side shelf can be used to hold serving spoons, spatulas, or other small items. The shelf can also fold up or be removed for more space to load large pots or pans. When using the high-side shelf, ensure that objects in the lower rack do not block the rotation of the middle spray arm. To install the removable high-side shelf: 1A) Guide the support arms through the lower rack as shown below. 1B) Align clamps with upper rack wire and press down firmly to lock into place. 10 place settings standard loading pattern Next, 2A,B) Guide the support arms from the outside to the inside of the rack. 2C) Slide the shelf to the rear of the rack. 12 place settings standard loading pattern To uninstall repeat the following steps in reverse order. 11
