COLLISION AVOID Collision Avoidance smartAIS Collision Avoidance continuously calculates collision risk and warns you with alarms or voice annunciated alerts. smartAIS Collision Avoidance combines GPS data such as position, course and speed of your boat with AIS data received from other vessels. Smart logic calculates the risk of collision. Medium and high risk vessels are highlighted to make them visible. You will become alerted to the highest risk vessels and presented with key information like the closest point of approach and the time until the closest point of approach. Alarm management organizes alarms for the most critical response. The alarms are always on and do not need any additional interface. Scroll from one target to the next. When a target vessel turns orange that's a warning sign of a potential collision. When red, you have a high collision risk and an alarm is triggered. See the target that is on a collision path with your vessel to enable you to take immediate action.
