Installing your server into a rackmount cabinet Parts you need to complete this task: I 8 clip rack nuts (provided by the rackmount cabinet manufacturer) I 8 screws (provided by the rackmount cabinet manufacturer) To install the rackmount cabinet brackets and rail assemblies into the rackmount cabinet: 1 Position one bracket and rail assembly into the rackmount cabinet. Make sure that the rail assembly is closed (not extended). Align the assembly on the front and back vertical mounting rails. Bracket and rail assembly 2 Attach the rackmount cabinet bracket to the front vertical mounting rail with the appropriate nuts and screws provided by the rackmount cabinet manufacturer. 3 Attach the back rackmount bracket to the back vertical mounting rail with the appropriate nuts and screws provided by the rackmount cabinet manufacturer. www.gateway.com 19
