Press and hold CLEAR/OFF for 5 seconds to lock and unlock. When the control panel is locked, Control is LOCKED will be displayed briefly anytime a pad or dial is pressed. Use this feature anytime you need a general purpose timer. It can even be used while cooking in the oven. 1. Press the TIMER pad. 2. Turn the dial to select the hours. Press the dial to enter. 3. Turn the dial to select the minutes. Press the dial to enter. To cancel, press TIMER. Two cooling fans automatically turn on as required to keep the internal oven components and control from overheating. The fans will automatically turn off when the internal parts are cool. One or both may stay on for 30 minutes or more after the oven control is turned off.
