English Boot Up Floppy Seek During POST, BIOS will determine the floppy disk drive installed is 40 or 80 tracks. 360 KB type is 40 tracks, 720 KB, 1.2 MB and 1.44 MB are all 80 tracks. Enabled BIOS searches for floppy disk drive to determine it is 40 or 80 tracks. Note that BIOS can not tell from 720 KB, 1.2 MB or 1.44 MB drive type as they are all 80 tracks. Disabled BIOS will not search for the type of floppy disk drive by track number. Note that there will not be any warning message if the drive installed is 360 KB. (Default value) Password Check System The system can not boot and can not access to Setup page will be denied if the Setup correct password is not entered at the prompt. The system will boot, but access to Setup will be denied if the correct password is not entered at the prompt. (Default value) HDD S.M.A.R.T. Capability This feature allows your hard disk to report read/write errors and to issue warnings when thirdparty hardware monitor utility is installed. Enabled Enable HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability. Disabled Disable HDD S.M.A.R.T. capability. (Default value) Away Mode Disabled Enabled Disable this function. (Default value) Enable Away Mode in Windows XP Media Center operating system. (Away Mode: Enables the system to silently perform unattended tasks while in a low-power mode that appears off.) Full Screen LOGO Show Enabled Show full screen logo at system startup. (Default value) Disabled Disable this function. If you wish to see BIOS POST screen, set this item to "Disabled". Init Display First This feature allows you to select the first initiation of the monitor display from which card when you install a PCI VGA card and a PCI Express VGA card on the motherboard. PCI Slot PEG Set Init Display First to PCI VGA card. Set Init Display First to PCI Express VGA card (the PCIE_16_1 slot).
